(Chicago) Universal Fibers®, global leader in developing sustainable solution-dyed
carpet fiber is introducing a revolutionary new carpet fiber, Intraflex® this week
during NeoCon in Chicago.
"We're excited to be launching Intraflex, and share news with our customers and
the industry," says Joe Parry, Global Marketing and Brand Director with Universal
Fibers. "The early response has been extremely positive from the A&D community,
as well as from our carpet mill partners."
Developed using Universal Fibers' exclusive proprietary technology, Intraflex
responds to marketplace demand for carpet fiber combining the benefits of
solution-dyed nylon with infused aesthetic high accent colors. This multi-tonal fiber
system produces sophisticated carpet patterns with natural tweed effect.
Universal Color 2.0 ensures infinite color flexibility, mergeable capability and zero
water-in-dye process. Intraflex is available with post-consumer recycled fiber
diverted from U.S. landfills.
The NeoCon World's Trade Fair is held annually at the Chicago Merchandise Mart.
With more than 700 showrooms and exhibitors, it is the largest and most
significant product exhibition in North America, attracting leading architects,
interior designers and facilities managers worldwide.
