Universal Fibers℠, Inc. Enters into Licensing Agreement with DuPont™ Industrial Biosciences to Further Expand Product Portfolio
Universal Fibers℠ and DuPont™ Industrial Biosciences (DuPont™) announced today a collaboration to produce and market carpet fiber using DuPont™ Sorona® renewably sourced polymer. The scope of the collaboration includes sales into the commercial, residential and automotive market segments. DuPont™ will provide its Sorona® polymer to Universal Fibers for their use in producing carpet fiber to be marketed and sold under the Universal Fibers brand with DuPont™ Sorona®.
